Zone Safety
If
there is one traffic safety issue that should go hand in
hand with motherhood and apple pie it is school zone safety.
Protecting our children from accidents should be a priority
of every individual. School zone safety should be a top
priority.
In
recent years there has been a rapid transition towards the
use of Fluorescent Strong Yellow/Green School Zone signs.
This color is limited to only a few signs such as school
zone signage, bicycle zones and crosswalks so that it becomes
imprinted in the minds of drivers that they need to be extra
careful in these areas. This unique color improves visibility
and conspicuity of important school zone signage.
